Dr. Gold’s focus is immediate, practical help. Treatment is tailored to the person, and the goals of therapy are developed collaboratively. His core approach is cognitive behavioral therapy, supported when appropriate by short-term, rational-emotive, solution-focused, mindfulness, relaxation, breathing, meditation, self-hypnosis, and other techniques.
He offers single-session, short, intermediate, and longer-term therapy. The focus, pace, and length of treatment are shaped around the adult or couple—not a predetermined program.
